Fri 7, 3-8pm: The Austrian Cultural Forum/Cairo presents the3rd “Austria meets Egypt Day” brings together Austrian and Egyptian artists and present various cultural activities in festive atmosphere to our visitors.
Dedicated to the theme “Visions of Self”, the whole afternoon revolves around self perception and how others perceive us. During this afternoon, these questions will be answered in a playful and creative way to initiate a lively discussion.The day offers arts, culture, recreation and fun for the whole family. At different workshops visitors can try their talent in painting, taking “selfies in the sand”, Viennese waltz, pantomime and recycling. The Austrian band IRISHsteirisch, will make everyone dance with their mixture of bubbly beats and Austrian dialect.
The Austrian Archeological Institute is baking ancient Egyptian bread and an interactive children's theatre and a storyteller invite you to stay and relax.
