Unbalanced war
“Until Friday night, some 1,497 martyrs (1,224 civilians, 358 children and 196 women) have died. Whoever looks at the rising number of martyrs will wonder how these Palestinians, barricaded in Gaza, are still resisting. They would also wonder how Palestinians who have no shelter, water or electricity are still imposing conditions for ending this unbalanced war.”
Ayman Al-Sayyad,
Al-Shorouk
21,000 children die every day worldwide
“UNICEF stated that 21,000 children die every day worldwide for various reasons including war, poverty, hunger, disease, torture, etc. Wars and conflicts cause the death of some 500 children daily, that is a child every three minutes. Israel killed 300 Palestinian children in its present aggression on Gaza.”
Akhbar Al-Yom
A tempest of laughter
“Egypt lost one of its unique comedians with the death of Said Saleh on 1 August. He used to cause tempest of laughter in his roles whether in the theatre, cinema or TV.”
Nasser Iraq,
Al-Youm Al-Sabei

“Henry Siegman became a prominent leader in American Jewish life. When I asked him to reflect on his long history with Zionism and to respond to the current assault on Gaza, he said: “It's disastrous. ... When one thinks that this is what is necessary for Israel to survive, that the Zionist dream is based on the repeated slaughter of innocents on a scale that we're watching these days on television, that is really a profound crisis — and should be a profound crisis — in the thinking of all of us who were committed to the establishment of the state and to its success.”

“Eight members of Abo Jarrar family were killed when an Israeli missile hit while they were watching television in a bedroom. Moussa Abo Jarrar lost 2 sons, 2 daughters, a daughter in law and 3 grandchildren Shame on humanity. DISGRACE”

Israel left its marks all over Gaza. Every street now has a scar of its own: a demolished house, a martyr, an injured. A massacre! #GazaUnderAttack

Let's see how many of those who support Gaza will help to save its people and rebuild its infra-structure.

Those who regret end of Qaddafi's regime ignore how the current chaos is the product of four decades of oppression.
