"Heading South", this exhibition intends to compare the work of four artists of different origin (Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and Greece), whom have all worked and lived in Egypt during some period of their lives. All using painting as a medium, each artist follows diverse routes in exploring signs, symbols and visions of the Egyptian culture. The exhibition is organized by Mashrabia Gallery at the Khan Fonoon venue (Closing 12 May).
"Toys", is Hany Rashed latest body of work. The artist's philosophy starts from a simple assumption: the contemporary human being lives a freedom limited by constraints (Closing 15 May).
"Nirvana", after a five-year stay in the United States, Mohamed Al-Ganoubi returns to the Cairene scene (18 May- 12 June).
