ª To mark the 95th anniversary of the independence of Poland, the Polish Ambassador Piotr Puchta and his wife gave a lavish reception at their residence in Zamalek. In his speech addressing the guests, Puchta stressed the interest of his country in reinforcing economic relations with Egypt. The party was crowned by the presence of a galaxy of foreign and Arab ambassadors such as Czech Ambassador Pavel Kafka, Ukraine Ambassador Yevhen Kyrylenko, Hungarian Ambassador Peter Kveck, British Ambassador James Watt, Czech Ambassador Pavel Kafka, Canadian Ambassador David Drake, Iraqi Ambassador Diaa Al-Dabbas, German Ambassador Michael Bock, Georgian Ambassador Archil Dzuliashvili, Italian Ambassador Maurizio Massari and head of the EU delegation James Moran.
