A new department has been established at the Ministry of State for Antiquities Affairs (MSAA) to receive complaints against ministry employees. Zahi Hawass, Egypt's minister of state for antiquities affairs, said that the administration will look into and review all complaints and suggestions to develop the MSAA. Archaeologist, Magdi El-Ghandour, director of the archaeological documentation centre, will lead these efforts. Hawass promised that each complaint will receive a reply within a week. Legal consultant, Mohamed Ramadan, was appointed by Hawass to the post ofdirector general of the minister's office for legal affairs, tasked with reshuffling the ministerial office and its sections.
