China have requested playing a friendly game with Egypt in June, Egyptian FA spokesman Azmy Megahed said on Wednesday. Megahed told Ahram's Arabic news website that an official request has just been received by the EFA board, which will be discussing the offer with Egypt coach Shawky Gharib. "China have officially requested staging a friendly game with Egypt," Megahed said. "The EFA, in fact, has also received several offers to play friendly games with different nations including Chile, Ecuador, Colombia and Russia." Egypt, who failed to make it to the Brazil World Cup finals, have their first international commitment in September - the first round of the 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Pharaohs have played a friendly game with World Cup finalists BosniaHerzegovina early this month in Austria, where Shawky Gharib's men claimed a 2-0 win. China, who qualified once to the World Cup in 2002, have been eliminated from the qualifiers after failing to get past the third round of the Asian qualification zone. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/97093.aspx
