Music and Film Festival named after martyred artist Ahmed Bassiouny

On Saturday 16 April, Darb 17 18 Egyptian Contemporary Art and Culture Center, will hold an event entitled: 'Ahmed Bassiouny - Egyptian Independent Artist Music and Film Festival'

The festival aims to gather independent Egyptian artists - musicians, photographers, and filmmakers - to showcase their talents. The festivalwants to promote the idea of uniting and encouraging the art scene in Egypt.
The event will feature a number of musicians, along with a gallery presenting the works of photographers and visual artists, and will include the screening of short films by independent filmmakers such as Ahmed Khalifa, Mohamed Taymour, Mahmoud Hamdi and Mohamed Soliman.
The event will take place on 16 April, between 4 and 7 pm.
