Egyptian squash star Ramy Ashour advanced one place in the World Ranking released on Monday to move from fourth to third position. Fellow Egyptian Mohamed Elshorbagy came in fourth while Amr Shabana and Karim Darwish landed in the seventh and eighth positions respectively. Englishman Nick Matthew topped the ranking and Frenchman Gregory Gaultier placed second. Previously ranked the world's best, Ashour was forced to withdraw from the World Championship final in Manchester due to a hamstring injury.
