Egypt's Mohamed Salah has ruled out reports linking him with a move away from English Premier League leaders Chelsea, revealing he is happy with the Blues and is working hard to book a regular place in the team squad. Salah, who joined Chelsea from Swiss side Basel on a five-and-a-half year deal last month, has started on the bench during his three appearances with the Blues, and reports claimed that manager Jose Mourinho is considering loaning the player. "I am confident of staying at Chelsea and I am not worried about staying on the bench because I am still newcomer with the team," Salah was quoted as saying CNN Arabic website on Sunday. "I am training well with Chelsea as I am happy to be there despite my absence from the team's starting lineup," he said. “Chelsea is a big team so I need time to go along with them," he added. "I don't worry about being included in the team's substitutions list as my way of playing with Basel is different from Chelsea." Earlier this month, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho revealed that he is working to build a team for the Blues' future by hiring fresh players like Egyptian youngster Salah, who is 21 years old. "Manager Mourinho told me that my chance will come in the near future," Salah said. Salah joined Chelsea from Basel for a reported fee of €13 million after the Blues beat competition from English Premier League rivals Liverpool. "I am surprised about the rumours claiming that I will be loaned out by Chelsea to one of the English Premier League teams. It's wrong, as the transfer window has been closed -- so how can Chelsea think of selling me on loan?" the Pharaohs' forward concluded.
