Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho hinted that Mohamed Salah will make his debut when the Blues host Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Egyptian winger joined Chelsea from Swiss side Basel on a four-and-a-half year deal after Mourinho's side beat off competition from rivals Liverpool.
He was kept on the bench as Chelsea claimed a precious 1-0 victory in a top-of-the-table clash against Manchester City last Monday and would be available for selection again against Newcastle at Stamford Bridge.
"Mohamed Salah is selected for tomorrow's game," Mourinho told the pre-match news conference.
Chelsea are third in the league table with 53 points, two behind leaders Arsenal.
