Omar Gamal completed his move to Zamalek on Sunday after signing a contract for two-and-a-half seasons with the Cairo giants. According to Zamalek's official website, Gamal, who spent the last six months at Libyan side Ittihad of Tripoli, will join Zamalek's training session on Monday. The arrival of the 31-year-old will strengthen Zamalek's squad, which suffered after the departure of Ahmed Eid Abdel-Malek and the permanent absence of Mahmoud Abdel-Razek 'Shikabala' who abandoned the team's training since the start of the season after filing a complaint against the club over his unpaid dues. Gamal was one of the key players in Ismaily's squad during the last eight years and he was named to the Pharaohs' squad several times. His last international game came during the tenure of former Egypt coach Hassan Shehata in a friendly against Argentina back in 2008.
