Egypt's doctors hold 2nd partial strike for better conditions

Egypt's doctors, pharmacists, dentists and veterinarians started on Wednesday their second partial strike in Cairo and several governorates, demanding improved financial and work conditions.
They had commenced the new year with a first partial strike on 1 January.
The state's Ministry of Finance has set a draft law– which has received initialCabinetapproval –expected to influence some 464,000 medical professionals with compensations and bonuses to be gradually implemented over three years.
