Egypt's Bedouin-Arab tribes meet with top Egyptian officials
Arab League secretary-general and Egyptian presidential candidate Amr Moussa stresses the importance of unity in Egypt's political future in talks with Bedouin-Arab tribes

Thousands of Arab tribal representatives from across all of Egypt's governorates held a conference on Friday in Hurghada with several high Egyptian officials
Amr Moussa, head of the Arab League and presidential candidate, stressed in his speech the important role the Bedouin-Arab tribes play in Egypt's political life. He added that change in Egypt should be guided by society as a whole and stressed the importance of rebuilding the country.
Hasballah El-Kafrawy, the former housing minister, took up unification, stressing that Christians, Muslims, Bedouins and Nubians should band together.
Another key official, Mahmoud Sherif, former local development minister was also in attendance.
At the end of the conference, the heads of tribes declared their support for Moussa in the upcoming presidential elections.
