No logic in football, says Raja's Iajour ahead of Bayern Munich clash
Raja Casablanca's Mouhssine Iajour says nothing is impossible in football as his side prepare for a crunch clash against Bayern Munich in the Club World Cup final on Saturday

Raja Casablanca's in-form forward Mouhssine Iajour said football cannot be assessed “through logic” after his side defied the odds to reach the Club World Cup final in Morocco.
“There are always surprises in football, and when you're out on the pitch there's no such thing as a strong team or a weak team,” the 28-year-old said in an interview with FIFA.com on Friday.
Raja won three straight games to set up a dream final against European champions Bayern Munich. Their superb run included a 2-1 victory over South American champions Atletico Mineiro, during which Iajour scored the opening goal after a breakaway early in the second half.
He was also on target as Raja beat Mexico's Monterrey 2-1 in the quarter-final.
“We proved that against Monterrey, who have won several [CONCACAF] Champions Leagues, and then against the Brazilians, who were big favourites to beat us,” added Iajour, who also played for Wydad Casablanca in Morocco, Charleroi in Belgium and Chiasso in Switzerland.
“Yet despite it all, it's Raja who are going to play the final. There's no such thing as logic. Even if you're the favourite, you have to go out on the pitch and prove it.”
Iajour, who is on level with Monterrey's Cesar Delgado with two goals, is seeking to become the tournament's top scorer.
“I really hope I can make the goalscoring award mine. It's very much on. I've scored twice and still have one game to play, and it would be a tremendous achievement after all our hard work in this competition. I really hope to score in the final,” he said.
Raja host Bayern in the Club World Cup final in Marrakech on Saturday.
