Ghana coach praises players, hopes no injuries ahead of Egypt trip
Kwesi Appiah praises players' performance during 6-1 win over Egypt in World Cup playoff, hopes to have an injury-free squad for return game in Cairo

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has commended his team players after they smashed Egypt 6-1 in the first leg of the 2014 World Cup playoff in Kumasi on Tuesday.
"Tactically the boys played well," Appiah was quoted as saying on Ghanasoccernet on Thursday.
"We relied on counter attack because we noticed their central defence and entire defence was not good," he added.
"I knew if my players had a good day, there was no way Egypt could stop us."
The Pharaohs host Ghana on 19 November and need a five-goal margin of victory to maintain their hopes of reaching the 2014 World Cup.
The Black Stars missed a number of regular players during the first leg due to injury so Appiah hopes to have a full squad for the second leg.
Defensive trio Isaac Vorsah, Joh Boye, Jonathan Mensah, and Schalke midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng missed the match at the Baba Yara stadium due to injuries.
"We just have to pray there will be no injuries in the team when we travel to Cairo for the second leg next month so we can be in Brazil," he concluded.
