Zamalek's Emam stakes claim for Egypt call-up in 3-0 win over Uganda
The diminutive winger continues his recent superb displays for Egypt as he helps the Pharaohs to a second friendly victory over Uganda in two days

Zamalek winger Hazem Emam staked a claim for a place in the Egypt squad for the upcoming World Cup playoff against Ghana after helping the Pharaohs to a 3-0 friendly victory over Uganda on Wednesday.
It was Egypt's second win over their modest opponents in two days, having beaten them 2-0 on Monday in a warm-up for the 15 October clash away to Ghana in the first leg of the World Cup qualifying playoff.
Emam, who scored the Pharaohs' second goal in Monday's win, produced another superb performance to guide his side to another easy victory.
He skipped past his marker down the right and whipped in a pinpoint cross for forward Ahmed Eid to head home after 29 minutes.
Another darting run saw him cross low for Zamalek teammate Mohamed Abdel-Shafy to fire in the second in the 76th minute.
Ahmed Samir wrapped up the win with four minutes remaining when he easily skipped past a couple of defenders to send a left-footed shot home from a tight angle.
Egypt's squad mainly comprised of fringe players as coach Bob Bradley aims to settle on his final squad for the anticipated Ghana clash. He had to do without Ahly players and the foreign-based footballers in two friendlies against Uganda.
The seven-time African champions will host Ghana in Cairo in the second leg on 19 November.
