One killed in Alexandria during Friday clashes
One dead and several injured as thousands of supporters of ousted president Morsi mark one-month anniversary of violent sit-ins dispersal

One man was shot dead and six others were wounded in clashes between supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi and opponents in Alexandria on Friday, the Egyptian health ministry said.
The man, who was not identified, is the only victim of Friday's clashes in Egypt so far.
The six injured were taken to two nearby hospitals for treatment after being hit by birdshots, the health ministry added.
The ministry also said that six were injured in Abu-Kebir in Sharqiya governorate, the birthplace of Morsi.
Earlier in the day, army vehicles were deployed in several districts in Alexandria after Brotherhood supporters were chased by local residents near Al-Qaed Ibrahim mosque, which has been a flashpoint for demonstrations since the 2011 January uprising.
Clashes also erupted in Alexandria's Corniche sea-front road, prompting police to fire tear gas. MENA said a number of "rioters" were arrested in the city shortly afterwards.
Islamist protest marches took place on Friday following noon prayers in Cairo and other cities, under the banner of "loyalty to the martyrs' blood."
The demonstrations come in the wake of a call by fugitive Muslim Brotherhood figure Essam El-Erian for supporters to hit the streets on Friday and Saturday in order to mark the one-month anniversary of the violent dispersal by the police of two pro-Morsi sit-ins on 14 August, which left 600 dead and more than 40 officers killed.
