Security forces deployments beefed up around pro-Morsi sit-ins
Amid speculations that weeks-long pro-Morsi sit-ins were to be dispersed Monday, security forces augmented in their vicinities but have yet heard orders to act

An informed interior ministry source tells Ahram Online Monday that the presence of security troops has been enhanced in the vicinities of the pro-Morsi sit-ins in Cairo and Giza.
Reinforcements have been sent in front of the Giza security directorate and above Al-Gamaa Bridge, both near Al-Nahda sit-in, the source said.
Forces have also been deployed on nearby Salah Salem, Youssef Al-Assal and Al-Hay Al-Sabie roads near the Brotherhood-led sit-in in Rabaa Al-Adawiya in Nasr City in east Cairo,
"But, no orders to disperse [the protests] have yet been handed out," adds the source.
Several media reports claimed on Sunday that a dispersal of the sit-ins was planned to take place in the early hours of Monday.
In response, the pro-MorsiNational Alliance to Support Legitimacy called on police and the armed forces not to disperse their sit-ins by force, affirming that their protests will remain peaceful.
On Wednesday, Egypt's presidency issued a statement describing the Brotherhood-led sit-ins as non-peaceful. PM Hazem El-Beblawi also said in a televised speech that the decision to disperse the pro-Morsi sit-ins is final.
Supporters of Morsi — the Muslim Brotherhood and its Islamist allies — have been staging two sit-ins, at Rabaa Al-Adawiya in the Nasr City district of Cairo and Al-Nahda Square in Giza, as well as daily rallies demanding Morsi's reinstatement since his popularly-backed army ouster 3 July.
