DR Congo's TP Mazembe ave defeated FUS Rabat of Morocco 3-0 in the second day of the Group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup in Lubumbashi on Saturday.
TP Mazembe made use of the home and fans advantage and managed to take an early lead over their visitors FUS Rabat as well as they topped their Group B with four points after two games.
Ghanaian striker Solomon Asante scored the opener only five minutes after the start, then Mbwana Samatta doubled the score in the 12 minute.
Cheibane Traore netted the third goal for the hosts TP Mazembe in the 55 minute to finish the game with 3-0 win for his side.
Mazembe are scheduled to face CA Bizertin in Tunisia on 17 August, while FUS will host ES Setif from Algeria in the same date.
Later on Saturday Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia will face Ethiopian side St George in Group B.
