Ghana's Ayew in no rush to leave Marseille Andre Ayew happy to remain at French side Marseille, may favour a move to the elite Premier League if he receives an English offer
Ghana forward Andre Anew said on Saturday he was in no rush to leave French side Marseille. The 23-year-old scored 13 goals and created five others in all competitions last season. He was not included in Ghana's squad for the 2013 African Cup of Nations after failing to report for a training camp while he was injured. “No offers at the moment? Who told you that no great clubs are interested me? Is the summer market already over?” Ayew told French paper L'Equipe. “It is not my intention to leave Marseille. I am happy here. But if I say I want to leave, there will be offers.” However, Ayew said a move to the elite English Premier League would appeal to him. “I have always loved England, but I am in no rush,” he added. “You can dream of playing at a higher level, especially at my age, but the most important thing is to carry on improving and become a better player in your position.” (For more sports news and updates, follow Ahram Online Sports on Twitter at@AO Sportsand on Facebook atAhramOnlineSports) http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/76389.aspx
