AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has decided to drop Ghanaian forward Kevin-Prince Boateng from the squad that will take on Bari on Sunday in the Serie A to give him time to fully recover. The 24-year old international player suffered a strained ankle last week but managed to play for an hour in Milan's Champions League crucial tie against Tottenham, ending 0-0, on Wednesday. Allegri wants to give him time to rest to ensure he fully recovers to help his teammates make a strong closure of the season.Boateng has been a key figure in the squad since joining in on a season-long loan deal from Genoa. AC Milan are expected to take up the buy-out option on him at the end of the season.
