Ghana and Stromsgodset goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey will miss the Black Stars' upcoming World Cup qualifying matches as he will undergo eye surgery on Monday, MTNFootball reported. "I have some defects in my eyes and want to take advantage of the one-month break in the Norwegian top-flight to correct that," Kwarasey said. The 25 year old was the Black Stars' first choice goalkeeper before losing his place to Fatau Dauda in the build up to the 2013 African Cup of Nations. Kwarasey will miss Ghana's 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Sudan and Lesotho in June because of the surgery. The goalkeeper, who was born in Norway, made his debut for Ghana in September 2011 after receiving his Ghanaian passport.
