Egyptian side Gouna will officially unveil Rainer Zobel as their new coach in a news conference on Wednesday, the club said. The German will replace Anwar Salama, who was sacked following a string of poor results. The 64-year-old coach had previous stints in Egypt as he guided Ahly to two league titles in 1998 and 1999. He also took charge of Ittihad of Alexandria in 2002 and ENPPI in 2006 but he failed to make a notable impact with both clubs. The German coach will have a tough mission with Gouna, who lie eighth in Group A with only five points from eight matches.
