Coach Hossam El-Badry hints at exit from Ahly
Red Devils coach calls Ahly 'priority,' but club's willingness to sign new players will be determining factor in his decision to stay or go

Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry has hinted that he could leave his post with the Cairo giants by the end of the current season.
Under El-Badry's guidance, the Red Devils have delivered outstanding performances on both the domestic and continental levels. But the 53-year-old tactician is reportedly on his way out.
"I'm staying with Ahly until the end of the season, but then there might be something new," El-Badry said in televised comments on Monday.
"I respect my contract with the club, but at the same time I've received offers from other clubs that must be taken into consideration," he added.
El-Badry began his second stint as coach of the 36-time Egyptian League winners last season, replacing Portuguese coach Manuel Jose Da Silva.
Since then he has led the team to victory, clinching both the African Champions League title and Egypt Super Cup.
"There's no doubt that Ahly are the priority, but I also need to work in a proper atmosphere to secure my achievements," he said.
"My decision to extend my contract will rely mainly on the management's readiness to sign new players to boost the team's performance," the former ENPPI and Merreikh coach revealed.
Titleholders Ahly qualified for the African Champions League round of 16 following an easy 2-0 home win over Kenya's Tusker on Sunday, giving the team an overall 4-1 aggregate victory.
The Cairo giants currently lie at the top of the Egyptian League's Group A with 18 points from eight matches.
