Primary medical tests have showed that Egypt and Ahly striker Emad Meteb fractured more than two ribs and he could be a major doubt for the game against South African team Super Sport in the African champions League next March. “Meteb underwent scans and will be sidelined for six weeks with a left-ribs fracture,” Ahly doctor Walid Abdel-Baky told Al Ahram. “Meteb will be hospitalized for 24 hours to make sure he doesn't sustain more injuries," he added. The 27-year old forward clashed with Wadi Degla goalkeeper Haytham Mohammed within the first 10 minutes of their friendly game on Saturday; hereby Meteb was sent off to the players' room and didn't complete the match.
