Egyptian teams handed easy tests in CAF 2013 draws African Champions Ahly will start the Champions League from the round of 32, while rivals Zamalek have to fight first in the preliminary round
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Monday the draw of its inter-club 2013 tournaments, with Egyptian teams being handed easy confrontations. Champions League title holders Ahly will start the tournament in the round of 32, as the Red Devils will take on the winner of the match between Seychelles club St. Michel and Kenya's Tusker. Cairo giants Zamalek, who were eliminated early from the Champions League, were drawn to take on Gazelle from Chad in the preliminary round of the tournament. If the Whites manage to reach the round of 32, they will play against Togo's Champions Dynamic and Congo's AS Vita. The draw of the Confederation Cup was also unveiled on Monday, and Egyptian duo ENPPI and Ismaily will start directly from the round 32. The petroleum side, ENPPI, will have to wait for the winner between Réunion from the Seychelles and Keny's Gor Mahia. The Ismaily Dervishes will play the winner between Swaziland club M.
