Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho revealed that he disappointed with the players' performance in the 4-0 win over Zaragoza in the 10th matchday of the Spanish La Liga on Saturday.
"I didn't enjoy the match very much, we can and must play better," Mourinho was quoted as saying on Real Madrid's official website.
"The important thing is to win and do it calmly, but we have to play better than we did," he added.
The 49-year-old tactician, Mourinho returned the Spanish giants' poor performance to the key players' absence because of injuries.
"In the past two seasons if Alonso and Khedira were missing we were desperate. Today, without them, the team has played, won and did enough to win".
The Portuguese coach, who has taken 133 matches to reach this number of wins with the Whites, praised the performance of the team's midfielder Luka Modric after scoring the last goal for the Meringues on Saturday.
"Modric is a great player, he is adapting and I'd be delighted if he keeps going as he is," Mourinho added.
"I liked how he plays, he works well for the team, is well integrated, he is adapting,"
"He's a great player, he is adapting and I'd be delighted if he keeps going as he is".
Mourinho also praised the performance of Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo throughout Zaragoza game.
"He worked hard for the team has played well considering the overall performance of the team," he added.
Real Madrid are third in the Spanish La Liga teams' table with 20 points, eight behind leaders and arch-rivals Barcelona.
