El-Raseef Festival in Maadi at 5pm
The pocket-sized publication promoting culture and social work, now comes in festival form bringing this two day event full of music, painting, art workshops, an open mic and booths with non-governmental organisations and artisans. Among the performers tonight will be Like Jelly, Baheya Band and Na'saf lel Ezaag (sorry to disturb).

Operating under the artistic supervision of Ines Abdel-Daim, chairperson of the Cairo Opera House, and conducted and trained by Aly Osman, the orchestra consists of 38 blind musicians, mainly third generation graduates of Al-Nour Wal Amal Music Institute. 'The Virus is Spreading' by Ganzeer in Safarkhan Gallery
Ongoing till 1 November,the exhibitionby Mohamed Fahmy (Ganzeer) brings the politically driven energy of the street to the exhibition space. Other Cairo artists contribute to the work hanging on the walls of the first floor adjacent. Each of their paintings stands alone but together they contribute to the spread of the "virus."
