China's crude oil imports from Iran August fell nearly 20 per cent from the same month a year ago, and were also 18 per cent lower from July, customs data showed on Friday. Data from the General Administration of Customs showed China, Iran's largest crude oil customer, imported 1.576 million tonnes of crude from Iran last month, or about 371,000 barrels per day. For the first eight months, imports were down 21.8 per cent year-on-year at 14.225 million tonnes, which is about 425,600 bpd.
