Egypt stocks edged up a fraction at the end of Tuesday's trading session, with the main EGX30 benchmark gaining 0.3 per cent to close at 5,179 points. Turnover reached LE303 million ($51 million), with 100 shares seeing their value increase, and 50 witnessing a drop. The broader EGX70 also gained 0.4 per cent to alight at 456 points. Egyptian investors dominated trade at 75 per cent of the day's activity, net selling at LE1 million. Non-Arab foreign investors made up 20 per cent of total volume, marking LE6 million in net-buys. Investment bank EFG-Hermes was the most active share in the session at LE40 million in turnover, gaining 0.97 per cent to close at LE11.47 per share. Commercial International Bank, Egypt's largest private bank, also gained 0.42 per cent after seeing LE29 million in turnover. It concluded the session at a share price of LE28.81.
