Following previous editions last fall and spring, the widely popular Future Shorts Film Festival will be held this summer at Darb 1718 on 15 August The line-up includes seven foreign films, a surprise local film screening, and a live music performance that has yet to be announced. Future Shorts claims to be the largest pop festival of its kind, showcasing innovative short films from across the globe. The festival is a truly spectacular cross-cultural initiative that takes place in approximately 144 cities worldwide simultaneously. It showcases a standardised programme of short films with local music and art in the background. This season's line-up features BAFTA winner and Oscar-nominated film 'A Morning Stroll,' Clemont-Ferrand winner 'The Guest' and SXSW winner 'Notes on Biology,' among others.
