Egyptian boxer, Hesham Abdel-Aal, squeezes past into round 16 of the men's Fly championship (52kg) after defeating Benson Njangiru of Kenya 19-16 on Monday.
The second round was decisive in the tight neck-and-neck competition; the boxers drew on the first round, (6-6), Abdelaal gained an advantage over Njangiru in the second round (8-5) and they drew again in the last round (5-5).
Abdel-Aal will fight Jasurbek Latipov of Uzbekistan on Friday.
