AC Milan reduce offer for Ghana's Muntari after holiday injury Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari out of action for five months with ligament damage, leading Milan to reduce his salary offer
AC Milan and former Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari will be out of action for at least five months after suffering ligament damage while playing football on the beach with friends in Accra during his summer break. The 27-year-old midfielder joined Milan on loan from Inter last January and the Rossoneri management offered him a two-year contract worth €3 million per season after his superb performance. The Italian giant's CEO Adriano Galliani said he would reduce the player's offer after he allowed himself to get injured while on holidays in his native Ghana, according to Corriere dello Sport. The former Udinese and Sunderland midfielder made 13 appearances for AC Milan last season, scoring three goals.
