Sudanese newspaper claims El-Hadary's participation with Merreikh in the CAF Confederation Cup is confirmed

Egyptian goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary is available to play for Sudanese side Merreikh in the CAF Confederation Cup after he terminated his loan contract with Alexandrian side Ittihad.
The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) sent El-Hadary's international license to Merreikh after he left Ittihad.
The 38-year-old long time Egypt keeper terminated his loan contract with Ittihad when his salary wasn't paid due to the financial crisis resulting from the suspension of all domestic competitions after the Port Said disaster on 1 February.
Merreikh's Brazilian coach Ricardo included the former Ahly, Zamalek and Ismaily goalkeeper in his squad for the CAF Confederation cup even before the goalkeeper's loan deal with Ittihad was cancelled.
A Sudanese newspaper confirmed El-Hadary could play for Merreikh after his loan deal finished.
