Bradley calls Ahly striker Meteb for Egypt squad Meteb to leave Ahly's camp in Turkey, along with Ekrami and Moawad, to perform national service ahead of CAR second leg qualifier
Egypt coach Bob Bradley has called Ahly striker Emad Meteb to the Pharaohs camp for Central Africa Republic (CAR) away clash in 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) qualifiers. “Meteb will leave Ahly training camp in Turkey next Monday, with goalkeeper Sherif Ekrami and defender Sayed Moawad, to join Egypt training for 30 June CAN qualifier,” reads a statement on the club's official website. While Ahly are preparing for the group stage of CAF Champions League that kicks off on 8 July against DR Congo's Mazembe, Egypt must win CAR with two by two goals in the second leg in Bangui on 30 June to progress as they were defeated 3-2 home in Borg El-Arab stadium.
