Ismaily are close from signing four players, two defenders, and two strikers to fill in his depleted squad. The club's financial problems pushed many of the team's stars towards the exit door as center backs Ahmed Hegazi and Moatassem Salem, wingers Ahmed Samir Farag and Ahmed Seddik and midfielder Abdallah El Shahat, amongst others after failing to secure their living in the indebted club. Coach Sabri El Menyawi – who took over at the beginning of June – has been leading negotiations with several available players. Libya international Younis El Shibany (30) and Masr El Maqasa's left winger Fouad Salama (32) are near to close their deals but both side still did not find the right agreements to make the transfers official. Meanwhile, Dervishes boss has also been dealing with former Egyptian international striker Ahmed Belal and Haras El Hodoud's Ahmed Hamed "Mido". Ismaily already signed former Zamalek defender Mohamed Younes earlier this month and hopes to tie up his new signings before the start of the season in mid-July. The Dervishes were ranked 6th before the league was suspended after the tragic events that led to the death of over 70 supporters in Port Said last February. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/44730.aspx
