Cameroon's Eyong to miss DRC clash in World Cup qualifiers Cameroonian midfielder Enoh Eyong will sit out of Saturday's scheduled 2014 World Cup qualifier against DR Congo due to knee injury
Ajax Amsterdam midfielder Enoh Eyong has been ruled out of the Cameroonian squad for Saturday's 2014 World Cup qualifier against DR Congo after suffering a knee injury. Cameroon coach Denis Lavagne has called up young Coton Sport player Oyongo Bitolo Ambroise to replace the injured Eyong. Olympique Marseille's defensive duo, Nicolas Nkoulou and Stephane Mbia, are also doubtful for Saturday's game, as they have yet to fully recover from respective injuries. Cameroon will launch their campaign for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers on Saturday when they host DR Congo in Yaounde before facing Libya in Tunisia one week later.
