Zamalek coach Patrice Carteron has expressed his pleasure with his team's 3-0 victory over Aswan in the 26th matchday of the Egyptian Premier League on Thursday, confirming the Whites won't be effected by the departure of Tunisian midfielder Ferjani Sassi. "We performed well during the game against Aswan as we made use of the international break to work on the players' fitness," Carteron told a television programme after the game. Zamalek are in the hot seat after fan favorite Sassi increased doubts about his fate with the club, describing his stint with the team as the most "important" in his life. "We have to respect Sassi's effort with team, but Zamalek still have talented players and we will continue our winning series after his departure," Carteron added. Zamalek cemented their position at the head of the Egyptian Premier League teams' table with 58 points after playing 26 games so far this season, 17 points over rivals and title holders Ahly who still have 7 games in hand.
