Egypt's Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lt. General Mohamed Farid attended on Wednesday the "Eisar 62" exercise conducted by formations from the Third Field Army. The drill is part of the annual combat training program of the Armed Forces. The exercise started by preparations for a battle in cooperation with all units and formations, where the chief of staff made sure of the preparedness of the soldiers and their combat skills as well as their capability of using the most modern means of carrying out assigned tasks. Farid conveyed the greetings of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and Minister of Defense Mohamed Zaki to the Third Field Army personnel on the occasion of Ramadan, hailing the high morale of the soldiers and their resolve to carry out tasks assigned to them efficiently.
