Egypt's Supreme Presidential ElectoralCommission (SPEC)has accepted theappeal Ahmed Shafiq, allowing him back into the presidential race, according to MENA.
.,..Ahmed Shafiq, the final prime minister of the Mubarak era, was barred from standing for Egypt'stop post onTuesday under the newly ratified Disenfranchisement Law. On Wednesday, he hadannounced hisintention toappeal the SPEC's decision.
