Egyptian Premier League team Pyramids FC have announced the signing of Ahly's former winger Ahmed El-Sheikh for three years in a free transfer. Ahly have terminated the contract of El-Sheikh last month, leaving him as a free agent that can join any team during the summer transfer window that was closed late on Sunday. 28-year-old winger El-Sheikh is the sixth player to join Pyramids FC's squad this summer after signing talented winger Ramadan Sobhi, veteran goalkeeper Sherif Ekrami, right-back Ahmed Fathi, Ahmed Sami, and Mahmoud Wadi. El-Sheikh was recently pegged to move to Zamalek before the Whites' management called off the deal. The former Ahly winger made 30 appearances with the Red Devils last season in all competitions, scoring 5 goals and providing three assists. El-Sheikh was named the Egyptian Premier League's top scorer, scoring 17 goals, when he was wearing Maqassa's jersey. Pyramids FC finished the Egyptian Premier League last season in third place, securing a place in the Confederation Cup. span style="font-size:11.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#333333"(For more sports news and updates, follow Ahram Online Sports on Twitter at @AO_Sportsand on Facebook at AhramOnlineSports.)
