Nigeria's promising striker Mustapha Babadidi will miss the Super Eagles' friendly game against Egypt next month after picking up an injury.
The 16-year-old, who plays for Gombe United, was initially included in Nigeria's 26-man squad for the game. However, he said on Saturday he would not be able to play after colliding with Enugu Rangers goalkeeper during a league game on 21 March.
“I have been injured since our 2-1 victory over Enugu Rangers. It's painful that I'll miss the friendly since I'm not fit. I was excited when my name was listed for the match,” Babadidi, who has scored ten goals this season, told SuperSport.com.
