Contracts will seek imports of 6 billion cubic meter of natural gas from Russia, according to energy minister

The Turkish government aims to privatize contracts to import 6 billion cubic meter of Russian natural gas through the Blue Stream pipeline, as stated by the energy minister, Taner Yildiz, according to Reuters.
He also added that his country is striving to expand its operations by importing from Russia through a second pipeline in the western side of the country.
