Sessegnon and Taiwo on target as Sunderland beat QPR Beninese Sessegnon and Nigerian Taye Taiwo scored in Sunderland's 3-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers in EPL
Sunderland took advantage of another red card for Djibril Cisse by pounding Queens Park Rangers 3-1 in the English Premier League on Saturday. QPR was already a goal down when Cisse's two-footed tackle on substitute Fraizer Campbell earned him a second sending off in only his fifth QPR match. James McClean doubled the lead and Stephane Sessegnon made it 3-0 six minutes later, while QPR defender Taye Taiwo scored a late consolation goal from a free kick. Sunderland defender John O'Shea limped off midway through the first half, jeopardizing his chances of playing in the FA Cup quarterfinal replay against Everton next week, then teammate Nicklas Bendtner opened the scoring just before halftime.
