Chocolate by the Zodiac
Published in Ahram Online on 14 - 07 - 2020

When it comes to chocolate, many of us will eat anything and everything we can get our hands on. It's certainly one of the most-loved tastes across the seven continents. But have you ever thought of choosing your favourite bar of chocolate according to your Zodiac sign?
We use astrology to help us determine a lot of things in our lives, personality, behaviour and chocolate being no exception. So, whether you believe in astrology or not, Zodiac signs can still help to determine your choice of chocolates.
Here are some of your perfect chocolate choices according to your sign of the Zodiac.
Aries (March 21-April 19):
Adventurous, energetic, courageous and confident, Aries can be impulsive and impatient at times. They like any kind of chocolate bar that is convenient and ready to hand, and a crunchy or crispy chocolate bar is sure to please them. A cup of hot chocolate can also easily turn an Aries on.

Taurus (April 20-May 20):
Sensible, ambitious, reliable and strong-headed, Tauruses can also be very moody and stubborn individuals. A big slab of dark chocolate cake served with some whipped cream and hot chocolate sauce would be perfect for a female Taurean.

Gemini (May 21-June 20):
Great communicators, intelligent, caring, sharing and talkative, Geminis have a natural ability to get along with people. Chocolate bars with multiple pieces that can be easily shared and can help strike up a conversation with others suit Geminis the most. A cup of chilli chocolate can also boost Geminis' confidence and eliminate all unnecessary thoughts from their heads.
Cancer (June 21-July 22):
Cancerians are comfort-loving, protective and emotional in nature, though they may appear tough and aloof from the outside. The chocolates that suit this artistic and creative sign the best are those that melt in the mouth slowly, pleasuring their taste buds through to the end, or a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream.

Leo (July 23-August 22):
Leos love being the centre of attention. They're highly ambitious, distinguished and strong people. Their personal favourite is the strong, enticing flavour of dark chocolate that slowly melts in the mouth.
Virgo (August 23-September 22):
Analytical, observant, helpful, reliable, simple and precise are a few of the characteristics that define a Virgo. Virgos love any chocolate that is pure, and a slab of white chocolate or homemade dark chocolate provides such perfectionists with a sense of purity. Virgos don't like chocolates with wafers or crumbs, but they adore the silky-smooth flavour of raspberry flavoured chocolates.
Libra (September 23-October 22):
Libras are diplomatic, graceful, idealistic and hospitable. They are also highly social and love to be surrounded by large groups of people. When it comes to chocolates, Libras love a combination of intense and soft flavours. White chocolate served with chocolate sauce, or a piece of chocolate brownie, give them a strong sense of satisfaction.
Scorpio (October 23-November 21):
Scorpions are emotional, impulsive, passionate and fiery. They like to stand out from the crowd and love getting attention. Chocolates with coffee content or dark chocolates work best for big-hearted, committed and truly passionate scorpions who are known to be bitter and sweet at the same time.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21):
Idealistic, adventurous and curious yet modest and knowledgeable, Sagittarians exhibit a unique combination of distinguished qualities. Nutty and fruity flavours suit Sagittarians the best. So, a bar of chocolate rich in dry fruit could work wonders to please them.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19):
Stability, commitment, focus and being practical are a few of the traits that characterise Capricorns. Exotic, expensive and visually appealing chocolates are the most suitable chocolates for them, and rich chocolate brownies and chocolate cupcakes make a good choice for typical Capricorns.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18):
Curious, kind, genuine and extrovert, Aquarians love to be surrounded by people but are very selective in choosing their real friends. Charmed with a gift of purity or originality, Aquarians are often thinkers, inventors or artists. A pack of milk chocolates symbolises purity and can be an excellent choice for them and the original side of their character.

Pisces (February 19-March 20):
Dreamy, imaginative, mysterious, adaptable and innovative, Pisceans are known for their kindness, sympathy and great observational skills. They admire beauty and like to stay in their own place. Most Pisceans love everything chocolaty; it boosts their romantic side and gives them the right energy to survive. Chocolate mousse, Belgian chocolates or extra creamy chocolates are a few recommendations.
