Horoscopes: Do's and don'ts

Horoscopes:
Do's and don'ts
By Imhotep
Success in all endeavours this August will be particularly sweet for Sea Goats, as people born under the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn (22 Dec-22Jan) are sometimes called. Sea Goats will have ample opportunity in the last two weeks of the month to prove that they are still punching. And there is nothing Capricorns love more than a good fight. The month of August, however, comes loaded with fresh challenges for Sea Goats in the arena of romance and affairs of the heart.
Cautious Capricorns know they must tread carefully. Home is often the centre of affection for Sea Goats, small wonder then that they do not take kindly to confrontations within the family. A mildly tense domestic drama is in the offing, though, my dear Capricorns.
Sea Goats might be a bit too eager to please their lovers in August, but their loved ones will play hard to adore. Expect some turbulence on the marital front, but rest assured my dear Sea Goats, all troubles of the heart will soon fade away. You will experience a surge of unpredictable energy and you'll be going places. So prepare for take off.
People born under the Fixed Air sign of Aquarius (23Jan-19 Feb) will be tempted to show glimpses of the more violent side of their nature in August, and especially so towards the end of the month.
Your faith might be rattled a little by your experiences this August my dear Aquarians.
Spiritual alienation and the full spectre of sin might be tantalisingly tempting this August for Water Bearers, as Aquarians are sometimes called. Water Bearers will be especially prone to material temptations in August. Whether or not they succumb to the allure of wickedness is entirely up to them. If Aquarians listen to their inner voices and follow their instincts, they'll have peace of mind. If, on the other hand, they follow their whims then trouble might ensue. But when all is said and done, August in retrospect for Aquarians will feel like little more than a racy television soap, or rather a cat-and- mouse drama.
Otherwise my dear Aquarians, you'll be happy to potter along quite pleasingly by early September.
It has been a rough week for people born under the Mutable Water sign of Pisces (20 Feb-21Mar). Pisceans must take a satirical look at their lives in August if they are to keep their sanity intact.
Change is in the air. And Pisceans must steer a course between discretion and forthrightness towards the middle of the month.
Uncharacteristically, the normally diplomatic Pisceans will be tempted to lose their cool in August. A clash with your immediate boss at the workplace, my dear Pisceans, might take place at the beginning of the month when, for a change, you will speak your mind. Similar bluntness later in the month is bound to annoy someone in a position of authority. Don't be perturbed. Stand your ground.
Pisceans can feel the depths that others can only dream of. By the end of August, the charitable side of their sensitive natures will come into full play. Pisceans typically listen to people's concerns and fears. But Pisceans are often not very clear about the difference between pity and compassion. Pity is passive, compassion means that you do something to help another person out of a difficult situation. Compassion is genuine love. Pity is impotent, negative thinking. Compassion accomplishes much good, and is a potent force.
In August, Pisceans will have ample opportunity to help people in need. Bless your hearts loving Pisceans, but make sure you clearly understand the difference between pity and compassion.
Please don't worry about the big decision you must make in September. Cross that bridge when you come to it, relax and enjoy August to the fullest.
