Horoscopes:
Escaping dead ends
By Imhotep
Friends will be most helpful to those people born under the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn (22 Dec - 22 Jan) this July. Sea Goats, as Capricorns are sometimes called, have seemingly pulled through tumultuous times with remarkably little psychological damage. On the face of it, nothing seems to undermine the determination and self-confidence of the Sea Goats. But, those who know the Capricorns well realise that they have not emerged from the turmoil unscathed. Their pride has been bruised, and their egos humbled. But, they also now know who their true friends are.
Sea Goats like to keep their heads above the waters. They do not fret over spilt milk either. Instead, this July they shall be busy laying the foundations of future profit-making activities, networking and making arrangements for future working relationships. And, their endeavours shall bear rich fruit -- but not necessarily in July.
Sea Goats shall be embroiled in legal groundwork and much paperwork by mid-July. They might find themselves dipping deep into their wallets.
Through these changing times, Capricorns must keep friends close and informed because they might need last minute favours from family and friends, that they must repay later.
Capricorns are doers. They are not exactly soul-searching types -- but in July they shall be forced to rise above the mundane. Certain spiritual aspects which in your busy lives, dear Sea Goats, have long been dormant, will come to the fore.
People born under the Fixed Air sign of Aquarius (23 Jan - 19 Feb) will connect with others in new and exciting ways this July. Aquarians must listen to their inner voice. They are intuitive beings who follow their instincts.
Water Bearers, as Aquarians are sometimes known, are destined to cut their losses in July. Good. You realise, dear Aquarians, that you have suffered sufficiently because you did not clear up old mistakes.
Easy-going by nature, Aquarians sometimes lack discipline, prudence and patience. Dear Aquarians, Imhotep counsels patience and restraint. Watch your tongues. Take matters very cautiously with authority figures.
Take care not to offend others, especially co-workers, partners and parents. What you most need now, dear Water Bearers, is heart-to-heart connections that will give you the emotional sustenance you so desire. Listen to your inner voice.
People from your past might come alive to haunt you in July. Don't be thrown off balance, don't be distracted. My dear Water Bearers, hard work, brains and a craving for connection will pull you through this difficult time.
People born under the Mutable Water sign of Pisces (20 Feb - 21 Mar) are bound to be energetic and high-spirited in late July and August. But, don't allow your generous nature to blind you in matters of the heart dear Pisceans.
Just feel that love and care for yourself first, before you busy yourself with helping others.
It might be time to quit a dead end job. Don't be burdened by guilt and poisoned by blame. In the past couple of months, my dear Piscean, you might have felt that your life was spiralling downward with disease or depression. A heavy workload, or tensions in the workplace heightened your sense of vulnerability and fills you with questions and sometimes despair.
Dear Piscean, your distaste for aggressive behaviour might be holding you back from saying what you really feel. When you confront what is not true about your identity, and stick with the truth about yourself, nothing harmful can befall you. Be perfect not petrified.
Imhotep predicts, dear Pisceans, that you shall find clarification of lots of issues that confuse you. There is a distinct possibility that a friendship might be turned into romance this July.
Look out next week for Imhotep's reading of Aries, Taurus and Gemini
