Mohamed Barakat is on course to recover from injury in time for Ahly's round of 32 African Champion's League clash against Ethiopian Coffee in Addis Ababa on 25 March. “Barakat will be ready for the Ethiopian Coffee game as he is recovering from his injury,” Ahly's Dr Ehab Ali told Ahram Online on Sunday. Ahly, which has won the Champions League a record six times, has ended its 40-day mourning period following the death of more than 70 of its fans at a match against Masry in Port Said. The 35-year-old veteran reversed his decision to retire which he made after the Port Said disaster. However, he insists that he will not play for the national team again.
