The Egyptian folk singer Donia Massoud will hold a concert during the ‘Women's rights are human rights' event on January 12 at El Sawy Culturewheel Donia Massoud's performance will close the event. Massoud has been singing folk songs since embarking upon a three-year journey through Egypt to document folk poetry and music. She has also acted in television shows and films such as Gaaletny Mogreman (She Turned Me to a Thief), Fi Shaet Masr El Gedida (In the Heliopolis Apartment) and Genenet El Asmak (The Aquarium).
