Despite beating South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns 2-0 in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarterfinals, Ahly boss Rene Weiler has warned his players ahead of the second leg game, confirming the Red Devils have yet to secure a place in the tournament's semis. Egypt's Ahly gained a comfortable first-leg advantage at the expense of the Sundowns in the African Champions League quarterfinal at Cairo stadium on Saturday. "We achieved the victory in Cairo but it doesn't mean we have qualified for the next round," Weiler told a press conference on Friday. Ahly will face the Sundowns in the second leg of the African Champions League quarterfinals in Pretoria next Saturday. "The game will be very difficult and we have to work hard to secure our qualification for the semi-finals. "Sundowns are one of the strongest teams in Africa as they haven't lost a game at home in the African Champions League this season," Weiler added. Eight-time African Champions League winners Ahly are chasing their first crown since 2013. "Our main target is to win the African Champions League title and we are working hard to achieve our target," the Ahly coach added. Ahly lost 0-5 to Sundowns in the first leg of the same round in Pretoria last year before claiming a narrow 1-0 win in Egypt, to exit the continental competition in the quarter-finals. Mosimane dreams of repeating the big result Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has revealed that he hopes to repeat the same result his team achieved against Ahly last season. "This result can't be repeated but I hope to achieve it again. No one knows whether we can achieve it or not as Ahly will play in a defence zone to suspend the scoring chances against our team," Mosimane said. "We can win with five goals if the game is opened but Ahly will depend on the defence during Saturday's game," the coach added. Weiler said he doesn't pay attention to statements ahead of the game. "I am not concentrating on the statements from Mamelodi Sundowns or from the South African media," Weiler said. "I am only concentrating on my team," he added.
